What NoChat is
Most dating apps are built around a chat window. You start talking to someone, you write for a week, and most of it goes nowhere. NoChat removes that step. There is no chat in the app at all: the app shows you the most compatible people first, and you choose, and when you both tap Meet, the only thing left to do is agree on a time and go.
Everyone on NoChat is 18 or older and passes a face check when they sign up, so the person in the photos is the person who shows up. The meeting place is never someone's home. It is a café or bar that partners with us, open to the public, with other people around.
How a date actually works
- Create a profile and verify it is you. A short face check ties your photos to you.
- Send or receive a Meet. Instead of a message, you send a request to meet, with the times that suit you.
- Agree on a time. The other person picks one of your times, or offers their own. That is the whole conversation.
- We pick the place. NoChat chooses a partner café or bar near you that is open at your time and lets the venue know you are coming.
- Turn up and check in. You both arrive, the app records that you are there, and the rest is yours. Got there first? Nochi keeps you company.
If plans change, you cancel in the app and nobody is left waiting at a table.

Nochi lives in NoChat partner cafés. You can’t download her, and she doesn’t chat either. She reacts, she judges a lazy “hey.”, and she waits for you at your table.

- She hides. Got there first? Point your phone at your table. She’s behind your cup.
- You catch her. Tap when she peeks out. She runs off, and you find her again.
- She plays. Catch her three times and she’s too tired to run. Then she tells you what she thinks of you.
- Your date arrives. She notices when they’re close. When they walk in, the game ends.

Is there really no chat?
Yes, really. There is no messaging screen. You exchange a meeting request and times, nothing else.
What does it cost?
Using NoChat is free, including a number of free Meets every day. Extra Meets and an optional NoChat Plus subscription can be bought inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play. You pay for your own food and drinks at the venue.
Where do the dates happen?
At a café or bar that is a NoChat partner, during its normal opening hours. You never need to share your address, and the first meeting is always in a public place.
For cafés and bars
NoChat sends two people to your venue and lets you know before they come. There is no monthly fee and nothing to install. You pay €2 per completed meeting in Portugal and ₺99 in Türkiye, and only when both guests actually arrive. Meetings that are cancelled, or where someone does not show up, cost nothing. The first 2 weeks after NoChat opens in your city are free, and nothing at all is charged before launch.
